Former President of Chile Ricardo Lagos, Alicia Barcena of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), José Antonio Ocampo and Stephany Griffith-Jones of the Initiative for Policy Dialogue (IPD) and Ernst Stetter of the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) organized a day and a half long conference entitled Towards Inclusive Development in Latin America and Chile, that was held August 29-30 at UN CEPAL in Santiago de Chile. The conference brought together experts and leaders from academic and policy sectors (both international and Chilean) to discuss the challenges of designing a strategy for inclusive and sustainable development in Latin America and Chile.
