The International Institute for Journalism in Berlin (part of the German development agency InWent) again sent a group of journalists to New York for a one-week seminar organized by IPD. Graham Watts led the team and reporters met with KS Jomo and Isabel Ortiz from the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, heard Nobel laureates Bob Mundel and Joseph Stiglitz discuss the financial crisis, visited Bloomberg and the New York Stock Exchange.
