To signify their tenth year of poverty research, the Chronic Poverty Research Centre (CPRC) held an international conference at the University of Manchester's Brooks World Poverty Institute (BWPI). The theme of this conference was "Ten years of global poverty reducation: What have we learned and what should we do?" which Joseph Stiglitz was invited to address.
